The Objective
We got to work with one of the most valuable retailers in the world that strives to improve the well-being of their employees - we go to work with IKEA by doing just that. The objective of this project was to create interior graphics for their new distribution center office in Port Klang. We made sure to follow IKEA’s brand identity and core values to fit the strong and loved brand that is IKEA.

We needed to take a lot of things into consideration. The interior design concept, the values of IKEA, the strong brand identity, and visual branding - our interior graphics had to fit in with the rest.

The Solution
On our journey with the company IKEA, we learned a lot, especially from their family-like company culture. To figure out and understand their brand identity exactly right, we worked with the interior designer firm Plym.

We succeeded in designing different types of spatial branding to initiate positive improvements in the daily life of the employees and the office’s visitors. We designed 450 different items such as icons, inspirational illustrations, quote typography, and navigation signs. All fitting into the brand IKEA and everything that comes with it.
